I love this little card. This is another”Quick and Easy” Card series I did in these colors. And it also had the most stamping. I loved doing the fast cards with little or no stamping, but stamping is what really brings me the peace I love when I am making cards. There is just nothing better for me to wind down.
The Happy Scenes is a stamp set I have enjoyed using this holiday season. It has something for every occasion this fall holiday season. This is a stamp set I will keep for a long time. This card was inspired by my hope for a White Christmas. I don’t think we will get one this year. So far, this November has been more spring like than the harbinger of winter November typically is for this part of the country. Oh well, I can still hope. As someone who spent most of her life in Florida, I really do love the peace of snow falling. For me, it is still a very novel experience and I always marvel at how quiet everything becomes when the snow is falling. The birds on this stamp remind me of the many I see out my window while the snow falls. Well, I may not get to see that anytime soon this year and I am not complaining. When you have to get out in the snow, all of a sudden it is not so novel! But sitting at home looking out the window, that is just great.
And as things get busy as Hanukkah has begun and getting closer to Christmas, I wish you all some peace as you hustle and bustle to get everything done and enjoy the celebrations coming up! If things get really hectic, I recommend taking some time out to stamp. Even if you just sit down and make a gift tag or something simple, I think stamping is very calming. It makes you focus on something else for a while and clear your mind. And that can be a good thing.
Peace and More Stampin’ Everyone!
