Paper Pumpkin This Month is 100% WOW!

April 19, 2017 Filed Under: Project Gallery

I usually don’t show paper Pumpkin Projects, but this kit you have to see!  April marked a special event for Paper Pumpkin because the Stampin’ Up! CEO, Sara Douglass designed this special kit.  And to know her is to expect the unexpected and lots of color.  Well, this month’s kit delivered on all the hype and all the promises around it!  All I can say is WOW!  I just had to share my finished project with you and tell you a few great things about this kit.  Because if this is the direction Paper Pumpkin is going, I don’t want you to miss any more month’s of Paper Pumpkin!

Paper Pumpkin, Stampin' Up!

What is the best feature about this month’s kit is how easy it was to use some really nice artistic techniques and make a card that looks like a very experienced card designer did it. The watercolor paper is very good quality.  And this I know because I used to do a lot of watercolor and good paper does make a difference. The emboss resist will make pencil coloring and then watercoloring so easy!  The embellishments are crazy good. Big sparkly flowers you will fall in love with!

This month’s Paper Pumpkin lets you stamp like a pro!  Your results will be amazing!

Even a beginner stamper can achieve great results with Paper Pumpkin.

This paper was even precut for you! Just color, watercolor and stamp!

The emboss resist paper makes watercolor pencils a snap!

I have been so happy to share this project with you!  And you know what I love most about it?  I was able to sit down with the kit and complete the entire project with no extra supplies. And I was able to do it in less than an hour.  As you may have noticed I haven’t blogged in a while.  It is not because I haven’t felt like it. I have simply been so busy and out of time!  Between work, other stamping commitments and life in general, I haven’t had much time to create.  And this month’s Paper Pumpkin was so welcome!  I was able to sit down and create!  I chose to do almost all birthday cards because that is what I need most.  And even as a fairly
experienced stamper, I felt like I learned new techniques and a new style of stamping.  In fact, this kit has motivated me to work on simpler designs featuring more color and unusual embellishments.  And that is probably the best thing I can say about this month’s Paper Pumpkin!

A heartfelt word to all my followers
