Once I saw the new Ephemera in the Spring mini. I knew my Valentine’s Day cards would be made with the Ephemera this year! I loved everything about the elements and that with not much time after the holidays, this was an easy solution for beautiful Valentine’s Day cards. The Stampin’ Up! Mix & Match Ephemera Packs are laser cut design elements which come in various packs. All are assorted colors which match Stampin’ Up! colors. There are also Mix & Match Cards and Envelope sets to match the elements.
The cards were a snap to make once I decided on the designs. I made the two versions above and to use up all the parts in the set, I made a couple more designs shown below. I actually colored the elements using Stampin’ Blends. I love how they turned out. Coloring the Ephemera with Stampin’ Blends is something I have done quite often. The ephemera don’t always come in the color I want and if it is a white or light color laser cut, they are quite easy to color to customize your design.
If you haven’t used the Ephemera, give it a try! You will find there are lots of choices and the pieces work for card making or scrapbooking. They give you lots of versatility in your paper crafts. And for me, they helped with a busy time of year allowing me time to create beautiful Valentine’s Day cards. I love how easy they are to work with.
