Stampin Blends Available Starting Today! Color Me Happy!

I usually don’t make an entire post about a product. But this new product from Stampin’ Up! is very exciting and I am truly in love about the new Stampin’ Blends, a blendable alcohol ink marker from Stampin’ Up!

The markers are available starting today. They come in light and dark shades of 12 popular Stampin’ Up colors. Demonstrators were able to order a preview earlier this month and I have been experimenting with them and love them! I had missed having a bendable alcohol ink marker for quite a while now. I love the Stampin’ Write and the Color Pencils. And I have been using the aqua pen and Stampin’ Up! ink to color in images. But nothing gives you the rich, luxurious even look of an alcohol ink.

And to kick these off right, Stampin’ Up! is offering a stamp set and card kit that works perfectly with the markers! How great is that?

The pens have locking caps that close tightly and will keep your ink nice and juicy. They are square in shape, making them stackable and nestable for storage. And in my case, keeps them from rolling off the table!

And on, the bliss and peacefulness of using these markers. You know, we all love some time to just sit down and craft! Coloring is so easy and so full proof, that you can craft with ease. New Catalog Favorites

My very favorite is the new Color Theory Suite. I have previewed a few projects using this new suite and I think I could use just the stamp set and die cuts for the next 3 months and never repeat a project! Click on the image below to learn more and see a video!

Crazy for Samplers!

While I haven’t been blogging, its not like I haven’t been stamping! I have just been busy with other stamping commitments and projects. One of my projects was joining a group of other demonstrators to teach a class using samplers or as we call it a “9-Patch” shadowbox. We had a great class with a spring themed class using Pear Pizazz and Fruit Stand DSP. It was a blast teaching this sampler technique and I have to say it was a success with everyone! Samplers are also a great way to show off multiple techniques and product. And they are just plain fun! We let the customer mount their samplers any way they wish on whatever background they choose as many will use these for home decor. I mounted mine on a sheet of Daffodil Delight card stock.

I also belong to a group of Demonstrators who get together once a month for dinner, business chat and a swap of sampler designs. Our very first meeting was a Valentine Theme. It couldn’t have been a better start to this club! We had fun getting together and seeing what everyone created. I loved everyone of my swaps!

There is a Patriotic Sampler Class Coming in June!
