Tis the season to be merry and I have another “quick & easy” card to show you. This features very little stamping, but has a lot of “wow” due to the die cut and the embellishments. I think the Season of Cheer DSP sets it off nicely as well. If you haven’t had time to get all your holiday cards done, this simple little design is fast, easy and if you don’t have the die, you can always substitute a punch, a label framelet or even just use the “merry” die cut over the embossed mossy meadow card stock. That would work just a nicely.
The “Season of Cheer” DSP is beautiful on its own, but I really felt like it needed some framing, so I used Mossy Meadow as a lyre between it and the Cherry Cobbler. I think using the 2 colors on every layer helped the DSP to really stand out. To add even more dimension, I embossed the middle strip of Mossy Meadow using the Woodgrain embossing folder. And to add a rustic touch, wrapped the layered strip with linen thread and topped it off with a Snowflake Element. Simple, fast and pretty.
