Today’s card is an attempt at using In Colors for a Holiday card. Using Merry Medley and Suite Seasons with In Colors made a bright and cheery holiday card. I’d done some swap cards and had plenty of leftover die cuts of the pine boughs as well as the middle sentiment that was from a design that never made it to completion! I decided to try the Merry Medley Stamp as a background and decided to use Flirty Flamingo. It was stamped off to tone down the background color. I really liked how the look came out. I can see using this stamp as a substitute for DSP when you really can’t find the right color combination or you simply want a print background in one color.
The sentiment is my favorite from the Suite Seasons set. I love the font in the “happy always” and the design is perfect to use in a square.
