I needed some tags last night and they just had to have a Florida theme! So, I reached for the palm tree from Totally Trees and this is what I got! And proving you can never have too many stamps, I also used a sentiment from Merry Mice and the light string from Forever Evergreen. Initially I bought Merry Mice just to make tags. Since that hasn’t happened yet, I am happy to have used one of the sentiments!
The palm tree was stamped in Emerald Envy and Chocolate Chip. I stamped the light string in black and colored it in with blender pens using Real Red and Old Olive. You can’t see it in the photo, but I “sparkled” all the lights using a Wink of Stella pen. When I added the Emerald Envy ribbon, I thought it looked too boring and when I tried red, it did not work.
So, I had some leftover retired Pom Noms and used those. You could also use the Whisper White Mini Pom Pom trim and even color it with Real Red ink if you had to have red. But I was in a hurry and used the retired Pom Poms. I love the look! If you don’t have Pom Poms, some metallic sequin trim would look great too. You could re-work this idea with any of the Totally Trees stamps if you wanted a “less tropical, more traditional” look.
Anyway, I had to share! Isn’t this a fun tag? And who knew Totally Trees could be so holiday?
