This was a project I had in mind after doing a typical Mini Treat Bag Project last week, which you can see HERE! I keep thinking the treat bag would make a great “Envelope” for a card! I needed a birthday card for a Stampin’ Up! friend and of course, it had to be something unique, so I came up with the Mini That Bag and card insert using Sunshine Sayings.
I used the Serene Scenery DSP stack because I love the “photo-real” look of the designs. For my color scheme, I simply looked at the coordinating colors for this Designer Paper Stack and used those. Stampin’ UP makes things so easy!
I made the front of the card big and bold. The sentiment I picked is a little cheeky, I admit! But our Stampin’ Up group has a quirky sense of humor and I think my friend will get a kick out of this for a birthday saying! It struck me as a funny sentiment to have in a birthday stamp set! So, I went with it!
So, give the Mini Treat Bags a try as your envelope when you give a birthday card in person!
