Here’s a simple little card using a very sweet set from the Holiday Occasions catalog, Many Blessings. The artwork is simple with a variety of designs you can use for Thanksgiving, Christmas and into spring. The card set was inspired by one of Stampin’ Up’s! Million Dollar Achievers, Ruth Snyder.
I wanted a rustic look, so I choose a Wood Textures DSP as the background. And I wanted a color scheme of Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow for my colors. I found the perfect DSP for the background strip in the Nature’s Poem DSP. Click on the color names to see the inks, paper and color tools available in that color.
The Burlap trim is just a length of Striped Burlap Trim cut in half and used along the edges of the layered strip. A bow of Braided Linen accented the sentiment. I still wanted something else, so I colored pearls using Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. Because the stamp set is so darling, I just tried to kee it sweet!
