I had wanted to do something that looked like a great big Gingerbread House using the Heartwarming Hugs DSP. I tried a lot of different ideas, but in all my “fails” with that idea, I came up with this sassy little card using Cherish the Season. Its a long way from where I started trying to make a Gingerbread House, but I really love how it came out.
The DSP layered perfectly and the Ornate Layer Die cut was the perfect piece to layer the die cut bells on. To add a bit of bling, I used Red Rhinestones as the berries. It added just the right amount of holiday sparkle. For a little bit more sass, I tied a bit of the 3/8″ Real Red Sheer Ribbon to the bell tops.
And because the theme at Global Design Project is Holiday-Winter this wee, I decided to enter this card. See all the other terrific projects at #GDP271 by clicking the image below:
If you love Cherish The season, don’t wait! it retires January 4th! It is also available as a bundle at 10% off! Its one of the best priced bundles in the Holiday Mini Catalog at $35.00!
