I am still moving ahead with holiday projects!  Yes, its hot outside but inside with Under The Mistletoe, life is just perfect! As I had posted a few days ago, one of my resolutions this year was to start holiday projects early. With all the beautiful things available in the Under The Mistletoe Suite, I have lots of options.  See all the wonderful new items by clicking the image below.

This card was super simple to do.  The DSP really carries the design.  The Hometown Greeting Framlits die cut from Shimmery White do all the rest.  A few of the new Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins and a little ribbon and I was done! On to the next holiday project!

Is “Swap-A-Bility” even a word?  Probably in our “stampin'” world, it is!  This is the third design in my series for a Sea  of Textures Swap.  This one had all the features I wanted.  This is a Demonstrator swap, so this is a card Demos can use to show customers what they can create. It has enough detail to be a beautiful card, but it is a nice easy design that would appeal to many types of card makers. The paper is bright and beautiful and there is not an excessive amount of die cutting required. It uses 2 color of card stock. And the Baker’s Twine is economical when making lots of a card. All in all, it definitely has “swap-a-bility”!

While still working on the perfect card to swap, I made this design next.  It uses a paper from the Tranquil Textures DSP for the background. Again, I stayed with the Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron and Tranquil Tide color story.  I stamped the “seaweed” and “net” in the background to save time on layering and die-cutting. Then, keeping the lovely octopus as the centerpiece, filled in the design! Much simpler than the last card(click here), but still maybe too much die-cutting for a swap, The saga continues….
