Daisy Delight Is Exactly That!

June 15, 2017 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Delightful Daisy, Stampin Up

Like most everyone else, Daisy Delight is one of my favorite suites!  Everything about it is just perfect.  And I know the punch is out of stock right now, but it will be back on June 26th and that is just around the corner!

I decided to try a cardDelightful Daisy Punch, Stampin' Up! with one of my favorite papers from the suite. I love Daisies and this paper has the most perfect “daisy l
ook” to it.  Simple, summery colors.  We have all had a blue and yellow summer dress or shirt a
t some point in time! And that is what this pattern reminds me of.  The Night of Navy Gingham ribbon is the perfect “belt” to go with that summer “dress” and I couldn’t resist using it to set off the sentiment.  A punched out daisy and the card was done!

Just click on the punch image at the left to see all the beautiful products in this suite.

Summer couldn’t be simpler!  Make sure to add the Daisy suite on your July shopping list! If you are like me, you haven’t nearly made it through your “wish list” from the new catalog!

Card Recipe

Papers: Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Delightful Daisy DSP
Stamps: Delightful Daisy, Flourishing Phrases
Embellishments: 1/2 Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon

Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Catalog

How beautiful is this catalog cover?  Today is the day!  The new catalog is live. Can’t wait to see yours in the mail?  No problem, check out the online version by clicking on the catalogs tab above or the catalog image at the right to view the new catalog online in all its glory! Wait, there is more!  I have some special promotions for you.

Promotion #1

If you place an order for $50 or more and use Host Code 6GF4RQ7T by June 30th, I will get a notification you placed a qualifying order and you will receive an e-mail from me offering you any 2017-2019 In color Stamp Pad and ink refill as a gift from me!  That is correct!  Choose any of the 2017-2019 In Color Stamp pads as your gift for a $50 or larger order!

If your order is over $150, then do not use the Host Code. I want you to earn and use all your Stampin’ Rewards!  I will still get a notification you placed an order over $50 and I will contact you about your Stamp Pad/Ink Refill Gift.  When setting up your account online, if you choose “No Contact”, I won’t know you have placed an order and you won’t be added to my e-mail or catalog lists…even if you used the Host Code.  So, you checked this box by mistake and you don’t hear from me, please contact me by clicking on the “Contact Me” tab above to let me know your order#.

How exciting is all this? Just remember, to qualify, you must place an online order totaling $50 or more using Host Code 6GF4RQ7T by June 30, 2017. And to sweeten the deal, if you haven’t received a catalog in the mail from me by June 30th, one will be included with your Stamp Pad/Ink Refill gift.  This is like having a birthday, so many gifts!

Promotion #2

For a $350 workshop or online order, this would mean $77 in Stampin’ Rewards! My wish list will easily earn that!

New Catalog Favorites

My very favorite is the new Color Theory Suite.  I have previewed a few projects using this new suite and I think I could use just the stamp set and die cuts for the next 3 months and never repeat a project! Click on the image below to learn more and see a video!

Colorful Seasons, STAMPIN' UP!, Color Theory

Another favorite is the Label Me Pretty Bundle. This will be my “go to” for quick and easy cards, gift tags, and packages.  I love a stamp set with matching punch because sometimes you just don’t feel like getting your Big Shot out! Click on the image below to learn more.

Label Me Pretty Stampin' Up!

The last thing I am going to show you today may also be the best! But alas, the matching punch for this is backordered until the end of June. It is the Daisy Delight Set.  There are so many possibilities with this set, I don’t know where to start! The stamps are simple, but the matching punch takes everything up a notch.  Too beautiful to believe is the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper(DSP). Check out this beautiful suite of Daisy themed products on pages 126-127 in the catalog. Click on the image below to learn more.

Ombre Wonders with Color Theory DSP for #GDP088

May 22, 2017 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Rose Wonder, Color Theory DSP, Stampin' Up!

Create easy cards with artistic looks with Ombre Designs in Color Theory DSP

This card is my entry for this week’s Global Design Project #GDP088:Case the Designer Shawn Oliveira.  My inspiration came from both Shawn’s card and the Design Team’s cards that featured ombre looks.  I took the easy route by using some of the very artistic papers in the new Color Theory DSP Stack.  These papers offer artistic looks that allow you to create cards in a snap! In shades of Berry Burst, Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Dapper Denim, this Designer Series Paper Stack is sure to be  a “must have” when the new catalog launches June 1st!

 Color Theory DSP, Stampin' Up!
#144193 Color Theory DSP Available to Order June 1st!

Using the Rose Garden Thinlit created a big bold look with just a single cutout.  The “Case the Designer” card Shawn did used gold foil paper and Paper pieced solid colors underneath.  A great look you should check out at Global Design Project :

#GDP088, Global Design Project

For my card, I wanted to  use the Rose Wonder Thinlit, but I wanted an easy to create card.  The Color Theory DSP gives you a lot of choices to create an easy, but beautiful look.  I settled on the Berry Burst “Paint Chip” paper with the Old Olive Ombre Paper.  The look is much more subtle in person, which I would not quite catch on camera!  But the combination of the In Color “Berry Burst” makes a fabulous color statement when paired with an old favorite, “Old Olive”. I can’t wait to do Autumn and Fall themed cards with this combination!

Recipe

Papers: Color Theory DSP, Berry Burst cardstock
Stamps: Rose Wonder
Embellishments: Berry Burst 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon
Tools: Rose Garden Thinlits, Big Shot
