Arrange A Wreath For Harvest Holidays

September 8, 2020 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

If you are looking for a versatile stamp set to buy now, look no further than Arrange A Wreath. From Thanksgiving to Christmas to Valentines Day and on to Eater plus more, Arrange A Wreath will be perfect for quick card making.

I wanted a simple card that would be easy to make multiples of for Thanksgiving card sending, so the combination of the wreath die cuts on a plaid background was perfect. I anchored the two die cut wreath styles with a bit of ribbon tied with linen thread. This gave the impression of a wreath on the wall.

The sentiment fit perfectly into a die from the Ornate Frames die set. I added the sentiment off to the side, much like you would see on a wreath. Then, I added a few enamel dots for berries. That was it and I was done!

Beautiful Autumn For The Season

August 26, 2020 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Beautiful Autumn is beautifully simple stamp set. So, I decided to make a card and keep it simple but elegant. And, very much like its name, you can create simply wonderful designs using Beautiful Autumn. For this card, I used a speckled  and a stripe paper from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack. The rustic look and the simplicity of these patterns are completely different from the reverse side of these papers, which feature beautiful copper and gold foil designs. Don’t you love it when you get such a versatile DSP set?

For my first ever card using Beautiful Autumn, I wanted to keep the design simple and let the gorgeous, large sentiment do most of the design work. The speckled background of the paper gave my simple stamping an artsy look and just a touch of ribbon, linen thread and a copper acorn embellishment finished off the card nicely.

For easy fall crafting using simple stamping techniques, look no further than the Gilded Autumn Suite. With the beautiful papers, the darling Autumn Punch pack and the rich ribbons and embellishments, fall crafting, decorating and gif giving will be a snap!  Look at all you can make using the product from this suite!

Gather Together With A Great Recipe

August 21, 2020 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

I am pretty happy during the holidays. They don’t stress me out that much and I just enjoy each moment as it comes. But one thing that does drive me crazy is when everyone is asking me when Thanksgiving Dinner will be ready! I know there are games to be watched and outdoor football to play. But honestly, I don’t like everyone coming in the kitchen to check on what I am doing!

I found the perfect remedy for this problem a few years ago. It’s the Pumpkin Pie Dip recipe shown in today’s project. I whip up a bowl of that and set it out with some Ginger Snaps and I don’t hear a peep from anyone about anything until Thanksgiving dinner is ready!

I just participated in a decorated holiday recipe swap and I thought, why not share this miracle cure for holiday irritation? So, I chose my dip as the recipe for the decorated card and I think I have convinced a few friends to try this! It was fun to create and embellish such a fancy recipe card. A few die cuts, a scrap of ribbon and a wood embellishment was all it took to give this recipe card a holiday feel with a special look.

The swap was for a 3″ x 5″ decorated recipe card. You made 12 and got 12 back, all with a holiday theme. I plan to put mine in a decorated basket as part of my holiday decor. These will look so pretty in my kitchen during the holidays. And what fun to try everyone’s else’s “holiday cures”!
