Colorful Summer Memories Using Memories & More

June 22, 2017 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Color Theory Suite, Memories & More, Stampin' Up!

I think these are just the perfect Summer colors!  I am having a great time using the new Memories & More card packs to create easy, quick cards.  This one uses cards from the Color Theory pack as well as the Jar of Love stamp set.  I sat down the other night with my card packs and decided to try a few more cards.  I did an earlier one to show off the new Berry Burst In Color, which you can see HERE! Today, I am working with some familiar colors, Olid Olive and Daffodil Delight. I picked this “Summer Memories” card to feature and these colors just seemed to work the best.

I used another pattern from the Color Theory DSP stack to die cut the leaves.  The pattern had a crackled effect and I thought using the Old Olive version of that to die the cut the leaves was a lot more interesting than stamping them for this particular card. Click on the image below to learn more about the Color Theory Suite.

Adding a few Daffodil Delight Flowers, some Daffodil Delight Baker’s Twine and the card was done.  I encourage your to try the new Memories & More Card packs. They come with 72 Double Sided cards, stickers and transparencies all in a pack for $10.00!  Its a great deal.  I have plenty to use for quick cards and enough left over for memory keeping or more cards.  Definitely more cards.  Below is another card I made using the Memories & More, the Daisy Delight stamp set and Daisy Punch. Sweet Surprise With Paper Pumpkin!

June 19, 2017 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

June 2017 Paper Pumpkin, Stampin' Up!

My Paper Pumpkin arrived last week and I am always excited to see it in my mailbox.  You just never know what you are going to get.  Most of the time, I love my Paper Pumpkin, but there are some months when I am just over the top thrilled with it!  This is one of those months.  Of course, I had to put my own spin on it, so these cards are a departure from what the kit actually is.  You can see the kit put together exactly as per directions below.  But being able to “make it my own” is one of the things I love about Paper Pumpkin and Stampin’ Up! in general.  That is because all the colors in Paper Pumpkin match Stampin’ Up colors.  So, you can take card stock, ink and embellishments from your Stampin’ Up! supplies and create items in the Paper Pumpkin kits to be exactly what you want! See the image below for the kit contents and designs.  You get supplies to make 4 gift bags and 6 note cards.

So, if you haven’t gotten on the Paper Pumpkin parade yesterday, I encourage you to give it a try.  Just sign up on or before the 10th of each month to get the next month’s kit.  Your first order comes with an acrylic stamp block so you can mount the stamps.  Everything you need to make the kit is included in your Paper Pumpkin Box.  Click on the Paper Pumpkin logo below to sign up today!

Daisy Delight Is Exactly That!

June 15, 2017 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Delightful Daisy, Stampin Up

Like most everyone else, Daisy Delight is one of my favorite suites!  Everything about it is just perfect.  And I know the punch is out of stock right now, but it will be back on June 26th and that is just around the corner!

I decided to try a cardDelightful Daisy Punch, Stampin' Up! with one of my favorite papers from the suite. I love Daisies and this paper has the most perfect “daisy l
ook” to it.  Simple, summery colors.  We have all had a blue and yellow summer dress or shirt a
t some point in time! And that is what this pattern reminds me of.  The Night of Navy Gingham ribbon is the perfect “belt” to go with that summer “dress” and I couldn’t resist using it to set off the sentiment.  A punched out daisy and the card was done!

Just click on the punch image at the left to see all the beautiful products in this suite.

Summer couldn’t be simpler!  Make sure to add the Daisy suite on your July shopping list! If you are like me, you haven’t nearly made it through your “wish list” from the new catalog!

Card Recipe
