I was so happy to see a new Cardinal stamp in the holiday mini! Cardinal stamps have been one of my holiday favorites, even before I moved to St Louis! I was organizing my stamps sets last night and when I looked at this one, I had to stop what I was doing and stamp! I know this stamp will be used in my holiday card this year, but the final design is many attempts away. I have to come up with something really impressive for all my friends and family who don’t stamp. You see, because I have this vast collection of stamps, tools, ribbons and accessories AND because I always seem to be traveling somewhere for a “stamping event”, people who don’t stamp think I must be some sort of stamping prodigy. I mean why would you have all this stuff if you didn’t stamp every spare moment and make fabulous designs. Little do they know….. So, to keep up the facade, I am really under pressure each year to think up some new, fabulous and original design! Sounds familiar to all of you, I imagine! So, here it is, my first attempt with the new Cardinal stamp, Joyful Season.
