Isn’t this frog just the cutest guy? I wish I could find a tiny crown stamp for him and make him a frog prince! This cute little card uses one of the delightful character stamps from the Love You Lots Host Set. I usually don’t like character or cartoon stamps. They just don’t seem to be my thing. But this set has really well designed character art. And while I used the frog, it was the hedgehogs that drew me to the set. I will use them a little but later, but since I am all gaga for Emerald Envy, this little guy had to come first! And best of all, this cute stamp set is one you can get with your host rewards!
Initially I was just going to make the card all green. And it probably would have looked fine that way. But I felt like it needed a few flowers and the Peekaboo Peach seemed like addition to grab your attention. The sentiment banner was layered by punching the Very Vanilla layer twice. I engineered that by lining up where I wanted the bottom to hit and then adhered it to a scrap of copy paper and lined up the top. You might have to clean up the flags a little, but this technique worked great to layer using the banner punch!
Thanks for looking at my card today. You can’t imagine how much it means to have such nice comments on the blog, Facebook and via e-mail! I appreciate you taking the time to check in and see what I have been up to!
