Affectionately Yours DSP Just for Jayne!

Love & Affection, Affectionately Yours DSP, Stampin Up

This card was inspired by a card my friend Jayne was trying to do for a workshop. We were all at at all day crop and everyone was giving suggestions on how to use this DSP.  As much as I love this suite, I really have had a challenge myself coming up with ideas for the beautiful paper and stamps.  Since I knew I had to get a card done, I thought I would give it a whirl.  This one’s for you, Jayne!

I picked out the paper I thought I could work with the best.  And then it occurred to me that with navy, pink, green and yellow are the obvious contrast colors.  I choose Cucumber Crush as the layer and frame color and then chose Daffodil Delight to stamp on because the Cucumber Crush ink would show up.  Then to get a little pink in, I used the Flirty Flamingo Enamel Dots. Not exactly the color, but I think they worked!

I love how the frames came out using the scalloped square framelits in the Layering Squares set. This is a technique I will have to remember.  I got the idea on Pinterest from a pin I apparently did not pin, so I cannot give credit for it.  And  I just got in my Copper Foil paper from the Holiday Occasions and I cannot wait to use that for this DSP!
