I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with lots of warmth & cheer! Today’s card is shamelessly cased from a card Paula Dobson did for Global Design Project #GDP067. You can see her card HERE! It really is a lovely card and it made great use of the tree from Santa’s List.
I had a great holiday and was lucky enough to get some lovely gifts! So, now I must have some thank you cards to send out for all this unexpected largess! Paula’s card was just the inspiration I needed to come up with a simple, easy to make thank you card that is perfect for a holiday gift thank you! It uses “Warmth & Cheer” DSP, which has been a favorite. You have a holiday look without being too over the top Christmas!
With the Warmth & Cheer DSP stack, you have several plaids to choose from and I will probably use several of them to complete the thank you cards. My first pick is the plaid shown here. I love green and black as a combination and this is by far my favorite plaid in the stack! So this is my feature card for today.
Now all I have to do is come up with another design so I can enter this week’s Global Design Project! If you haven’t joined in on the fun, you should. This is a great challenge and the current one is a “tree” theme. Because of the holidays, the challenge runs through Monday, January 2nd! So, you have plenty of time to come up with something for this fun theme! There are some fabulous ideas. Please take a look HERE!
