I had a great time playing with Pieces & Patterns the last few days. This set is unique for Stampin’ Up and I love the versatility of the artwork and sentiments. And the matching DSP has choices in graphic, floral, whimsical and black & white patterns. This DSP has some of the most versatile patterns I have ever found. What I like about this entire suite is that it encourages you to think outside the box when designing cards. And I like a good challenge! Today’s card uses the mushrooms from the DSP. I love using mushroom motifs and these are really well done. I love the simple graphic design and the touch of color. I used one of the graphic patterns from this DSP to play against the mushroom artwork and layered everything on black for a clean look that pops. I love a bow but the Basic Black And Crushed Curry alone did not work. So, I tied them both together for a double bow that worked to finish the card.
