I have been wanting to try something with the Petal Promenade Paper since I saw a sample! This is another set of “photo real” Designer Series Paper(DSP) Stampin’ Up! has done so well. And in really big news, it was just confirmed that a Downton Abbey movie WILL be made! And this wonderful news inspired me to get out this beautiful paper that is reminiscent of so many Downton Abbey scenes and do something with it!
The design shown is one of my favorites in the set. I love pale pinks against dark greens, so using Mossy Meadow with this paper was fun for me to do. Because the paper is so dense in design, I decided to make a bold element and then layer it up a bit. It just seemed to go with the vintage look this paper inspires.
The Thank you sentiment was stamped, cut out with a circle punch and popped onto the detailed circle die cut.
The Mossy Meadow shape and the stamped Thank You design area all from Stitched All Around, which I think is a perfect set for this paper. I used some die cuts from Flourish Thinlits Dies(matches Flourish Phrases stamp set) and then finished it up with a scrap of the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, some twine and a few pearls! So fun to do!
