Don’t you just love all the images in So Santa? Every year Stampin’ Up! has a stamps in the holiday catalog for those who celebrate Christmas in a warmer climate. It is one of the first things I look for! While I live in a colder climate now, most of my life was spent in Florida. And when you are used to it, a sunny Christmas is every bit of fun as a snowy one! It’s all what you are used to.
This year’s So Santa features this cool “Surfing’ Santa” just chilling on the beach. The Tropical Escape DSP was perfect for this card. However, I felt I needed just a bit of bling to make it a “real” holiday card. So, I took the Tearoom Combo Ribbon pack and colored the Very Vanilla ribbon to Petal Pink and the Coastal Cabana Ribbon to Shaded Spruce using Stampin’ Blends! As long as you have some light or neutral color ribbon and Stampin’ Blends, you can create any color ribbon you want!
I layered the sentiment on a DSP banner and punched a few pink sprigs to complete the tropical holiday look.
