A Simple But Hearfelt Get Well Card

January 17, 2019 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Dandelion Wishes

Here is a simple, quick get well card.  With the beautiful Botanical Butterfly DSP and some layering, you have a really classic look that you can send to anyone who needs a little cheering up. I never seem to have a “ Get Well” card on hand when I need one, so I made several of these so I am sure to have one when I need it!

The pattern matching is easy with Stampin’ Up’s! DSP.  Each DSP pack is designed so all the paper patterns coordinate. You only have the fun of putting them together in card designs you like! I loved the polka dot pattern, so I made that layer a larger frame than normal to show it off. Combining the uncluttered dotted paper with the dense design in the top layer makes it work. Adding a bright contrast color with black makes the design pop.

Thank you Jayne! It’s a great paper! I wish it was in the regular line, but who can complain about getting it for free?

Lovely! Such a gorgeous showcase of this paper and sweet sentiment. Your card is a CLOSE CASE of the GDP challenge this week. ♥
