My card today is a masculine style Valentine’s Day card. The Classic Garage DSP makes it easy this year to create all sorts of great “Guy” Valentine’s. I don’t buy a lot of Valentine stamp sets. Mostly because I never have time to use them. There is so little time between the holidays being over, New Year’s and then Valentine’s. And its one of the times I am super busy with work and generally not home much.
So, because I don’t buy a lot of Valentine sets, I try to be creative with what I have on hand. I really loved the Classic Garage DSP. I think it has lots of possibilities for cards for guys and anyone who likes cars. While I love the paper, I haven’t broken down and bought the stamp set, Geared Up Garage. That set and the matching framelits are shown in the list of Products Used For This Card at the bottom of this post.
So, because I had the paper and I love the hearts in the Sunshine Wishes Framelits, my card design was pretty easy. All I had to so was add the two hearts, tie a the Key from the Classic Garage Metal Elements on and add the die cut, LOVE. A very simple, quick card for Valentine’s Day!
BUT, I am hoping someone will case this card and add the Geared Up Garage sentiment: “You Jump Start My Heart” and use the hood emblem die to do a different take on this card. That would be the card I would love to have done! So, if you are seeing this card, I hope you try that idea and send me a link to take a look at that version!
