This bright and lovely card was created using Timeless Textures and the Gingham Gala DSP. I went with a completely monochromatic look with Lucky Limeade as the only color, except in the inks. Those were a combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Pineapple Punch and Granny Apple Green.
My monthly dinner with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators was last week and our theme for the swap was “Spring”. This year, rather than setting a specific stamp set for the swap, we have elected to go with a theme. And I love this because we get so many different types of cards using so many great Stampin’ Up Card sets. Because we use these cards as samples for workshops and other events, I try to use new or “must have” stamp sets. And this was the stamp set I chose.
For my card design, I wanted to use something most everyone would want to have in their stamp collection is they don’t already. And that is Timeless Textures. It’s the perfect stamp set for those times when you need to add a little extra “texture” to a design.
And because I miscalculated how much I had of the Lemon Lime Twist Gingham, I had to make a few of the swaps in Highland Heather, which I ended up liking just as well! Both cards were embellished with Basic Pearls colored with a light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend in the center of the flowers.

And who doesn’t like a party?
Paper Pumpkin turns 6 in March! What a fun sis years its been. Like all babies, we started out kinda cute but with not much going on. We had some learning curves along the way. And now at age six, Paper Pumpkin is a walking, talking and doing all sorts of amazing things! I love my box each month. It’s a fun little delight I can just open up and have an hour or two of uninterrupted stampin’ fun. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to it. And March’s box is ALL about birthdays! Birthday cards, that is. With birthday cards and TWO stamp sets enclosed, it is sure to be an exciting set. The picture of the box above gives you a hint as to what the style cards inside will be like.
I admit to being one of those subscribers who “only likes cards” for my kit. Is that a problem? No, never! I simply skip the month that usually has a “non-card” kit. That is generally January, April, September and sometimes December. They are getting better about giving us hints, so I know when I probably should skip a month. Or if it is August and the hint is Halloween, then I keep that kit, regardless! All you need to remember is to do everything by midnight(Mountain Time) on the 10th of the month! Because, just like Cinderella if you don’t, everything will go POOF and you will miss that month or be shipped that month.
