Here’s a card using one of my favorite stamps, Making Christmas Bright. This is a set featured in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog and it has been a go to stamp set for a while. This card also features the Night Before Christmas DSP. I thought the lights worked perfectly with the sentiment and it brought in some of the Pretty Peacock, which I wanted.
I stamped the sentiment in 2 colors by using a sticky note to cover up the part I wanted in another color. This is an easy and fast trick that really steps your deign up a notch. For the card stock, I picked out colors from the DSP of Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Pretty Peacock. It gave the card a vintage look that works with both the vintage looking paper and the vintage fonts in the sentiment.
To dress up the Crumb Cake layer, I used the Subtle Texture Embossing Folder, which gives the paper a satiny look once you emboss. The reversible ribbon adds a little sparkle along with the Holiday Rhinestones.

I love how you’ve segmented this paper and panel. ♥ Such a fun look to have the coordinating background color below without the lights.
