Today’s card was created in the spirit of thankfulness. I am thankful for a lot today. But this card celebrates all of you who read my blog. I appreciate you take the time to look through what I create. And I am especially grateful for all my loyal readers who take some of their valuable time to leave me a comment. Your comments mean a lot and it it is so nice to have some feedback and know people are noticing what I create! I wish all of my readers a very Happy Thanksgiving!
For this card, I used the last of my stash of Come to Gather DSP and the Painted Harvest set. I love the striped paper in this DSP set and I thought it worked well with the gingham pattern. The sunflowers are two step stamping and I think they create beautiful sunflowers. I left the centers unstamped because I liked how the open centers looked on the striped paper.
The hardest part of this design was where to put the sentiment. I did not want to cover up any of the sunflowers! I finally settled on a space in the middle. The sentiment was die cut with a Stitched Rectangle. The design really didn’t need the bow, but I added it because I liked it!
