I am having the most fun with the Ornate Garden Suite! So, here is another card. This is one of several I made while a small group of us were on retreat this weekend. It was a nice few days away from everything going on in the world. We all took advantage of the uninterrupted craft time to create as much as we could. As for me, I had plenty of time to work on all sorts of cards, but spent a lot of time with the Ornate Garden Suite, which goes on sale April 1st. See more of the set HERE!
This card uses one of the floral papers and is accented with a die cut strip of gold foil, which is set off by the fabulous Gilded Gems from the Suite. While Rococo Rose isn’t listed as one of the coordinating colors, I think it works well with this paper. So, I made that one of the layers and also used the Gold Center Rococo Rose Ribbon you can find in the Annual Catalog. The metallic gold in the ribbon goes perfectly with the gold accents in the Ornate Garden Suite.
Stampin’ Tip: Don’t be afraid to go outside the listed coordinating colors in a Suite of Products. Often similar colors blend well together and work really well! And remember, if you like it, that is what counts!
