What’s not to love about the Full of Life Designer Series Paper? It has bold graphic designs on one side and beautiful water colors on the other. But every time I went to make something with this paper, I felt intimidated. I wasn’t really sure where to begin. I finally decided I just had to treat it like I would any other patterned paper and just go for it. This is one of my results. I love the way the colors all come together in the offbeat looking collage. I used a punches for all the graphic pattern paper. No reason, really. The punches are easy and I often go to them first when creating a card.
I softened up the graphic shapes by punching out a few of the sprigs using the Bough Punch. This added a bit of interest to the side opposite the sentiment, which was punched from one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. The sentiment is from the Unbounded Love set.
The card is set off with a bit of ribbon and some of the new In Color Resin Dots. What I love most about this card are all the colors. So, don’t be afraid to give the Full of Life paper a try! Especially if you love beautiful watercolor papers. Here is a look at all the patterns in the pack.
And here are the two pieces I used for this card.
If you haven’t played with the Full of Life DSP, I can highly recommend giving it a try. You will find it lots of fun!
Love your use of punches to add layers to your amazing creation! Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring us all!
