Here is another cute card using the Trick or Tweet set from the Holiday Catalog. Don’t you just love the elephant with the “bat mask” and wings on?  Not a great disguise for this fellow, but he looks so cute in his get up.

For this card, I decided to go the Halloween “bright colors” route.  The Gorgeous Grape is one of the new colors and a perfect purple for Halloween cards. For some interest, I used the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Embossing Impressions Embossing Folder(can you say that 3 times fast?) from the 2018 Holiday catalog.  I love this new embossing folder.  And when you see “dynamic” in the description for one of the embossing folders, it means that it will give you deep impressions.

The striped paper is from the Toil & Trouble DSP set.  I simply cut it out from one of the designs to use rather than a ribbon or other embellishment. It picks up the colors perfectly. I then stamped and punched out some bats using the Spooky Sweets stamps and the Spooky Bats punch.  With all that, my “batty elephant” card was done!

Here’s another one of the darling Trick or Tweet animals.  This time is is a perfect little cat “disguised” as a mummy!  Complete with a spider hanging from his tail, this ragamuffin little guy is too cute for sure!

The shouts pattern from the Toil & Trouble FSP made the most sense to me to use this this stamp.  And up course, I had to add one of the Spider Trinkets to the card. Its anchored to the card using the so, so beautiful Black Glittered Organdy ribbon from the Toil & Trouble Suite in the holiday Catalog.  This ribbon is so gorgeous. Perfect for “glammin up” your holiday cards, treats and decor.

The characters from Trick or Tweet are just too cute and this little tweety bird is my favorite.  I absolutely had to make him yellow, but he could be any color!  I sat down the other day with this set and had fun making cards with each of the characters in the set. You’ll see them over the next week or so.

What inspired this card is how tiny the bird is and I thought he needed to look “scaredy” so I put him against a dark night sky with a yellow moon and bats flying! The Spooky Sweets set was perfect for this and the Twinkle Builder Punch made a great night sky when punched and layered on the Pineapple Punch.
