This is the first card made with the Pleasant Pheasants set. This was my favorite of all the Harvest, Thanksgiving sets this year.  It has a classic simplicity to it. And the set is great for cards, place settings, decor.

I used Festive Farmhouse for the background plaid. But the stripes were not Cajun Craze!  They are actually Cherry Cobbler. But I thought this paper was so  perfect for the design I had in mind that I drew over each Cherry Cobbler line with a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write marker to make the paper fit the color story I wanted!

I stuck to a really simple color story of Cajun Craze, Gray Granite and Basic Gray.  The Pheasants image was stamped on a piece of the Festive Farmhouse DSP so I would have a “wood look’ background.  And the Braided Linen Trim works really well with shades of gray.  All in all, one of my favorite cards this year!

Here’s another card from the Winter Woods stamp set.  I love traditional in holiday cards, so this set combined with the Festive Farmhouse DSP has a cozy, down home look to it.  I love, love, love the plaid papers in the Festive Farmhouse DSP.  The plaids will definitely be my “go to” paper designs this holiday season!

I am loving all the plaids this year and this paper from the Festive Farmhouse Suite is a favorite.  I love the richness of the Cherry Cobbler and using black as a contrast makes it very contemporary.  In fact, I love everything in the Festive Farmhouse Suite. All of the items in the Suite are very traditional and ideal for creating a holiday feel in cards, home decor or packaging.
