How is this for an easy peasy card?  The little Rhino was die cut from the DSP! That’s right, the Animal Expedition has a sheet of images that match the dies in the suite!  When I did the “giraffe card” that you can see here, I cut out some extras from the sheet of DSP.  The Rhino caught my eye today and the result you see above!  So easy and so fun!  Every piece in the suit of product comes together so easy for this cute little card! And I made it in about 5 minutes because the die cut was done.

The papers in the suite are really some of the best artwork of all the Designer Series Papers available this catalog! The illustrated animal designs are just too cute and the graphic papers are really beautiful in their design.  Here are a few examples of the front and back of these beautiful papers!

Happy 4th of July, everyone!  Today’s card is my patriotic contribution to today.  When I sat down to make this card, I immediately decided it had to be the “Lift Me Up” set.  And of course, I  just HAD to use the new Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick In Colors!  I just wanted a card that was fun and keeping with the spirit of this holiday.  We all get time to relax and I think there is plenty of “good stuff” to celebrate today!

Did you notice that the Pretty Label Punch shape looks like a cloud? How happy that made me on this card! Also, the tiny little border lines on the sentiment are from the Animal Outing Set.  It is a tiny touch, but I thought the sentiment needed a little something.

I hope you enjoy this little “red, white and blue” homage to the day and you are enjoying doing what you are free to do this day whether it is enjoying time with family, friends or wisely staying out of the heat and enjoying a little stamping time!

This project using the Animal Outing Stamp Set and Animal Expedition DSP was inspired by the Global Design Project’s Challenge, Case The Designer #GDP144. Once I saw the challenge this week,  I wanted to try and use the DSP for the focus because the Animal Friends dies can be used with he DSP!  How cool is that?

Or, just click on the image below. Once I figured out the images on one of the sheets could be die cut using the Animal Friends dies, I just had to try out the Giraffe image.  I love the DSP and while there is also a stamp in the Animal Outing set with the same images as the DSP, I felt the colors in the DSP were just perfect and as vivid as I want them to be. I love it when Stampin’ Up! matches the DSP to a punch or dies!  We had a few examples of that in last year’s Holiday Occasions catalog and I loved that you can really elevate a card’s look by doing this.
