This will be like a “Shark Week” on TV this week on the blog!  Instead of all sharks, this week is all about the “Painted With Love” Specialty DSP!  It’s Valentine’s Week!  You can’t start too early for a holiday and Valentine’s is no exception. It always seems to catch me unprepared. It seems I have only just recovered from the holidays and the New Year.  At least this year I have all the holiday decorations down before Valentine’s Day!

Today’s card is another fast and easy look using the Painted With Love DSP and Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. I chose the paper with shoes of Calypso Coral.  I thought this was a new look for a Valentine’s Day card and I love how the Calypso Coral looks with Powder Pink.  Really soft and pretty.  Click on the image below to see this beautiful new paper in more detail.

Here’s another Valentine’s Day card in the collection of cards using the Painted With Love Specialty DSP and the Sure Do Love You Suite.  I had a great time doing these cards.  This paper allows you to create fresh, modern cards with an artsy look.  And its really easy to do!

This quick to make card uses the dies from the Sure Do Love You Suite to cut out the card pieces. The banner and small heart were stamped from this suite too. I used Berry Burst paper and ink for this card.  It is not listed as a coordinating color, but I think it works really well with this design from the paper set.

For this card, I used colors that are not listed as coordinating colors for the paper, Peek-A-Boo Peach and Berry Burst. But I think they work great with the colors in the paper.  I encourage  you to try colors you like.  It can be surprising what will work!
