Itty Bitty Birthdays With Waterfront

January 31, 2019 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

itty Bitty Birthday, Waterfront

Once a month I meet with a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators for a swap. Each month has a theme and we swap cards so that we all have lots of sample cards on hand to show customers. This month’s theme was a “Masculine Birthday Card Swap”. I don’t have any of the great “guy stamp sets” we have in the catalog such as the new Classic Garage Suite shown below(click on the image to see more).  But with a little creativity, there is plenty in my card stash to create a masculine birthday card!

Stampin' Up Classic Garage

And the Waterfront stamp set is one of those sets. And another good option for masculine cards is the Wood Textures DSP.  With the new stamp set, Itty Bitty Birthdays you have the perfect collection of sentiments for designing any type of Birthday Card you need.

Piece Of Cake!

January 29, 2019 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Piece of Cake

Piece of Cake is a must have suite of products for birthday cards, weddings and anniversaries. Well, really almost any celebration you would have cake! And thankfully, there are a lot of those! With the darling decorated cake stamps and the oh so simple Cake Builder Punch, you have a lot of options to celebrate any occasion.

I chose to use Gingham Gala DSP, easily my “Paper of the Year”.  I can imagine not having this paper. I am so hoping it becomes a carryover to the next catalog!  And the design is simple with the cake as the focus.  I chose the “cut the cake” sentiment as it can have so many meanings! So, when I ready to send the card I can make it a birthday card or another celebration just by choosing the right sentiment for the inside!

Dandelion Wishes Get Well

January 26, 2019 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Dandelion Wishes

I have had this design in mind since I took a look at all the sentiments in the Lasting Lily stamp set, which you can get “free” with a purchase during Sale-A-Bration.  Once I saw the “Wishing you well” sentiment, I had to design a card using the Dandelion Wishes stamp!

I have wanted to try stamping a design on the Gingham Gala paper and the dandelion worked just right for me. This is where the Stamparatus comes in handy.  Having a great stamp positioned like the Stamparatus allows you to make several impressions which will give you a nice dark image on a patterned background. If you haven’t heard about the Stamparatus, check it out by clicking the image below.

The stamped design was layered on a simple black and white dotted paper from the Botanical Butterfly paper you can earn for free with a purchase during Sale-A-Bration.  And of course, the card just needed the “Wishing you well” sentiment from the Lasting Lily set, another freebie during Sale-A-Bration.  Click on the images below to see all the good stuff you can earn during Stampin’ Up’s! annual free stamps promotion!
