Stampin’ Up has many stamp sets with wonderful sayings, but Incredible Like You is an especially nice one.   With a nice selection of sentiments for friends and family, this stamp set will make some very special cards for all the special people in your life.  And is is part os a suite that includes a beautiful project kit! For today’s card, I did not use the kit. Instead, I used the new Gingham Gala DSP as well as some In Color DSP to create a bright, happy springlike card you could send to a special friend.  Using two different DSP paper stacks, I was able to mix and match patterns. For the finishing touch, I added some of the Gingham Gala sequins topped by enamel dots.

Amazing Life was a stamp set attendees were given at On Stage in November.  I love that it is one of those versatile sets with stamps for many occasions. And because I am a big believer you should never say no to birthday cake, I chose this stamp to use with the Piece of Cake bundle.

The sentiment worked perfectly in a framelit from the Stitched Labels die set.  And I thought the die helped create a ‘birthday cake look”. I have fallen in love with the Piece of Cake suite of products.  The stamps are just beautiful and you can use it for anniversaries, weddings and of course, birthdays!  I added a little flower embellishment topped with an enamel dot that was just enough decoration for the cake. The Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon just added more “frosting” to the look.  And of course, my new favorite, the Gingham Gala DSP provided the perfect backdrop for it all.

Here is a simple, quick get well card.  With the beautiful Botanical Butterfly DSP and some layering, you have a really classic look that you can send to anyone who needs a little cheering up. I never seem to have a “ Get Well” card on hand when I need one, so I made several of these so I am sure to have one when I need it!

The pattern matching is easy with Stampin’ Up’s! DSP.  Each DSP pack is designed so all the paper patterns coordinate. You only have the fun of putting them together in card designs you like! I loved the polka dot pattern, so I made that layer a larger frame than normal to show it off. Combining the uncluttered dotted paper with the dense design in the top layer makes it work. Adding a bright contrast color with black makes the design pop.
