Dragonfly Dreams Do Come True

November 12, 2020 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

If you have been wishing that Stampin’ Up! had a Dragonfly stamp set, then hang on! Your wish will come true in January! Not only that, but your Dragonfly stamp set will have a matching punch! How cool is that?

The card you see today was created using the Dragonfly Garden set with matching punch. You will see it soon in the January-June Mini catalog arriving in your mailbox mid to late December. Be on the lookout for it, you don’t want to lose it in all that holiday mail. And I truly mean you won’t! This is the prettiest spring occasions catalog from Stampin’ Up! I have ever seen.

One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is getting to order products in advance of the catalog launches. And this beautiful stamp set and paper is one of those early orders from the “Dandy Garden Suite. The paper is beautiful and the embellishments include the cute ladybug you see on this card’s sentiment.

Stay tuned for more sneak peeks in December. For now, I just had to show you this sneak peek before I go back to blogging about what’s important now….Holiday Ideas!

But if you are looking for something new and fresh for spring occasions card making, check out the Customer Sneak Preview Set, Curvy Celebrations.  For the month of November, you can order a special bundle of new stamps and dies. Happy Stamping!

Love of Leaves With Artistry Blooms

November 10, 2020 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Today’s card was the culmination of several attempts to do a card that showed the colors of fall foliage! Love of Leaves stamp set was my first choice. But how to use it in a way that showed off all the variations in fall color was the challenge.

I started off by trying to use watercolor pencils and show variations of color. That was pretty much a fail. Then I tried sponge daubing many colors on the paper and die cutting. It was okay, but not exciting. Finally I decided to go back to what I know best! Using Designer Series Papers, better known as DSP.

The Artistry Blooms was perfect for the vision I had for this card. I simply chose areas of this beautiful DSP that had the colors I wanted and die cut my collection of leaves. I even used one of the papers as my background. A pattern from the In Good Taste DSP helped to pop my “leaves collection” a bit more and framing that DSP with some Rich Razzleberry really brought the collage of leaves together.

A sentiment is all it took to pull the card together and I layered the sentiment on a loose fold of the natural color Embroidered Ribbon. A few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots added some interest. And I was done! DSP to the rescue again!

Happy Haunting with Arrange A Wreath

October 30, 2020 Filed Under: Gallery, Project Gallery

Happy Halloween everyone! Today’s card is for the Halloween Diva who likes a little bling and sparkle. I have seen many Halloween cards using the Arrange A Wreath dies and I just had to do one. And with some of the fantastic sparkly embellishments Stampin’ Up! has this year, its easy to create the perfect card for the discerning, witchy diva!

The Arrange a Wreath is one of my favorite of the “all occasion” sets. I am finding that having something on hand that covers so many occasions is now a “must have”.  When you have an all occasions set,  you are ready for anything!

The beautiful Magic In This Night DSP paper is what makes this card. The designs are elegant and a perfect complement for some bling and sparkle. The designs are so elegant on some of the paper, I can see using this well beyond the Halloween season. Take a look at all the designs HERE!

I know Halloween will be different for many of us this year. So whether its a Halloween Parade, Trunk or Treating or a socially distanced candy handout from home, I wish everyone safe and happy fun for this Full Moon Halloween night!
